Imagination brought to light
Jan Quiggins was born as Jan Bailey in Alexandria, Virginia. In 1970, Jan married Richard S. Quiggins II, her childhood sweetheart and went on to have three wonderful children: Nikko, Mandy and Ritchie. She is now the proud Grandma to Landon, Layla, Kaden and Allie.
Throughout her life, Jan exhibited a remarkable talent for art, music, and visualizing the world as a cup half full rather than half empty. Jan has studied the art of earlier Impressionist masters, particularly those of the 19th century - Claude Monet, Pierre-August Renoir, and Edgar Degas. Her deep respect for these artists greatly impacted her own painting throughout her career and acted as a catalyst in her journey to explore and master various techniques in painting.
